2018 WINTER/SPRING SCHEDULE

CHEERLEADING CLASSES

Cheer Basics 1 (50 Minutes)
Ever wanted to be a cheerleader?  This is your opportunity to learn the ropes!  Cheer Basics 1 is for younger athletes, ages 4-6.  We will learn basic motions, jumps, cheers, stunts, and tumbling skills.

Cheer Basics 2 (50 Minutes)
Ever wanted to be a cheerleader?  This is your opportunity to learn the ropes!  Cheer Basics 2 is for older athletes, ages 7-12.  We will learn basic motions, jumps, cheers, stunts, and tumbling skills.

TUMBLING CLASSES

Level 1 Beginner Tumbling (Ages 4 - 7)    50 Minutes
This is where it all begins!  Athletes will learn the basic skills needed to have a solid foundation for future tumbling success.  Examples of skills learned: forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridge kickovers.  Ages 4-7
 
Tuesday: 6:00p-6:50p
Thursday: 6:00p-6:50p
Saturday: 12:00p-12:50p
   
Level 1 Beginner Tumbling (Ages 1st grade - Teens)   50 Minutes
This is where it all begins!  Athletes will learn the basic skills needed to have a solid foundation for future tumbling success.  Examples of skills learned: forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridge kickovers.  
 
Monday: 7:00p-7:50p; 8:00p-8:50p
Tuesday: 5:00p-5:50p; 8:00-8:50p
Thursday: 5:00p-5:50p
 
Level 1 Advanced Tumbling (Ages 1st grade - teens)     50 Minutes
The next step towards tumbling greatness!  Here athletes continue to build body strength and awareness.  Examples of skills learned:  roundoff, handstand forward roll, back and front walkovers.
 
Tuesday: 6:00p-6:50p
Wednesday: 5:00p-5:50p  
Thursday: 7:00p-7:50p
Saturday: 11:00a-11:50a
 
Handspring 101 (Ages 1st grade - teens)     50 Minutes
Get ready to jump!  Athletes are introduced to skills that involve jumping and being airborne.  Examples of skills learned: standing back handspring, front handspring, running roundoff rebound.
 
Monday: 8:00p-8:50p
Tuesday: 7:00p-7:50p
Wednesday: 8:00p-8:50p
Thursday: 8:00p-8:50p
Saturday: 10:00a-10:50a
 
Level 3 & 4 Tumbling (Ages 1st grade - teens)   50 Minutes
Here we begin to LEAVE THE FLOOR BEHIND! Athletes are introduced to aerial flipping skills.  Examples of skills learned:  roundoff back handspring back tuck, front tuck.
